Groups & Bible Studies
Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings in the synagogues as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one-another. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This “each other” is called His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward community through men’s/women’s groups, home bible studies, and other personal settings.

Volunteer in Ministry
Every Christian has been given at least one spiritual gift to use in service to the body of Christ. 1 Peter 4:10-11
Behind every ministry, event and worship service is a team of people working together, using their gifts and passions to serve God and one another. Whatever your ability might be, HBWT needs you to serve on a team.
The Welcome to HBWT Team! Come help us welcome visitors to service. Hang near the entrance with a smile to meet and greet and hand out bulletin. Remember, enthusiasm is contagious!
Audio/Video technicians make sure the music and preaching is heard and seen with excellence and clarity!
Children’s Ministry Volunteers sit with kids during large-group teaching time and come prepared to help be a second set of hands and eyes with the teacher to lead a small group utilizing a lesson plan provided.
For musicians and vocalists that are willing to give of their talents. If you sing and/or play any instrument including drums, bass, piano, acoustic/electric guitar or other, apply for the music team! Involvement includes participation in any/all venues where music is supported. Application, audition, and background check required.
Our Watchdogs Team keeps our church safe and secure.
Come help us welcome visitors during events and services! Application & Background Check required.
Is food your love language? This group makes and takes casseroles or meals to families for different occasions (funerals, etc.).
Are you in a trade that could help HBWT maintain our campuses? Or maybe, you just love to cut grass! Let us know if you would like to help keep God’s House in tip top shape.
