Happy Sunday June 6th

Today’s prayer 🙏

Father God,
As we go through our lives, living here in a world full of lies and deceit, it’s hard for the flesh to resist
at times.  It’s hard sometimes  to know for sure what is from you or what is just passing through our paths.

Some think we need prescriptions to get through our days.

Some think we need material things to fill emptiness.

Some think the more money we can make here on earth the better our lives will be.

When all along,  all we really need in our life is you, Jesus.

When we stand strong in our trust and faith in you alone, that emptiness that lives within us is completely filled.  None of that other stuff we think we need to live on matters because You cover all of those needs with your mighty hand.  It is then you show us what true freedom really is.

Lord,  if we in the flesh feel the need to depend on anything, we should depend on you alone.

Thank you Lord Jesus, for filling our lives with such peace and freedom.
