Good Morning

Happy Thursday July 29th

Bring your children or grandchildren to our last days of VBS
They will never forget it!!!

“Lean on Me as you face the circumstances of this day.
When your circumstances are challenging and you are feeling weak,
you tend to obsess about how you are going to make it through the day.
This wastes a lot of time and energy; it also distracts you from Me.
Whenever this happens, ask Me to open your eyes so you can find Me in the moment.
‘See’ Me
standing nearby, with My strong arm extended toward you— offering you My help.
Don’t try to pretend that you have it all together or that you’re stronger than you really are.
Instead, lean hard on Me, letting Me bear most of your weight and help you with your problems.”
Jesus Today by Sarah Young

A man of many companions may come to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24

Todays’ prayer 🙏

Father God,

I see a lot of people wasting a lot of energy in their lives.  All we really need to do is lean on you, Lord Jesus.  Through our tough times.  Through our storms.  Through our brokenness.  You are always there.  Always there to take the load off so we can focus more on the things that bring you glory.

Lord, we all need to come to the understanding on our true purpose here on this earth.  And that is, we put ourselves aside and live for you only.  This is how we get true peace in our lives every day.

Thank you, Lord Jesus.  For allowing us to lean on you through all of our storms.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Today’s question 🤔

Do you lean on the Lord through your storms?
Or do you try to get through them yourself?
Get out of His way and watch how much calmer your storms can be!!!
