Today’s prayer 🙏

Good Morning, Jesus,
My prayer today is for everyone to know the secret to true freedom.

Lord, it’s when we come to the point in life when we figure out exactly what our needs are is when we can become free of our wants.  Lord, a lot of people get the two confused with each other.  Our needs are just what we can get by on living on this earth, our wants are all the extra things we think we need.  And sometimes those wants can consume us and even break us down in many ways.

Lord, we must start seeing the truth that is your word and know in our hearts that because of that truth, we don’t need anything but your

Love

Grace

And Mercies

And it’s when we become perfectly content with that alone we start feeling totally free.

Free from…..Thinking others are better than us.

Free from…..Fear of what others think of us.

Free from…..The love of money and material things.

Because all those things are just shackles, to keep our minds focused on how we can get all this stuff.  When all along we can be focused on the beautiful things God has already blessed our days with….right before our eyes.

Lord God, I have these pictures on my wall right in front of where I sit every morning. They show me just how much You have blessed my life.  It’s because of your word and the sacrifice you made for us that should keep us all perfectly content and satisfied with the life we live today.

Thank you, Lord!
