Good Morning

Happy Tuesday June 15th

“Love is patient.
Notice that the very first adjective the apostle Paul uses to describe love is ‘patient.’
I treasure this quality in My followers,
even though it is not highly visible in most twenty-first-century depictions of love.
Patient people can stay calm while enduring lengthy waits
or dealing with difficult people and problems.
I encourage you to examine your own life:
to see how you respond to waiting and difficulties.
This will give you a good measure of how patient —how loving— you are.”

Jesus Always by Sarah Young

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
1 Corinthians 13:4

Today’s prayer

Father God,
What’s the hurry?????

My prayer today, Lord God, is for all the people who seem to be in a huge hurry these days.
Especially on the roads,  people zig-zagging in and out of lanes, for whatever reason.
Life is already going fast enough, so why do we feel like we should go faster???
Sometimes, when we slow our roll, God brings something good, like Sunday’s Traveler’s meeting at Riverfront Park. Those who stuck around were blessed by you Lord, with yet another divine appointment.  With a gentleman who was homeless and needed someone to pray over him.
Lord, if we would have darted out right after the meeting,  we would have missed that wonderful opportunity to shine Your light on this gentleman.

My prayer today Lord, is that Your people just relax and wait patiently for you, Lord.  We all need to humble ourselves so we will never miss any of the  great opportunities you place in our path.  Because it is then we bring all glory to you, and comfort to the ones you place in front of us.

Thank you Lord Jesus, for leading us.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Today’s question 🤔
